Holiday Makeup Bag: Part 1

Being on holiday, I could only take a limited amount of makeup with me, which means: Brainstorming. After some hard (not really) decision making on what to take with me, I decided to show you guys the current and old loves that I took with me.

First up are face products that I have bought with me. The weather here is a beautiful autumn weather, my favorite, where it is not too cold but not too warm. I have combination skin, which means I have an oily T-zone but generally my skin feels very dehydrated and dull.

The first product that I use is literally a genie in a bottle aka. a glow in a tube! I am talking about the Dior Glow Maximizer, a light boosting primer and Oh, do I love this product. It has a creamy texture and is a champagne color that looks beautiful all over the skin. The beauty about this     product is that it doesn't contain any shimmer, just a subtle glow that will blow your mind away.

Afterwards, I will use the Nars Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30, in the color Finland (Light 1). I bought it recently in America when I visited the Nars store and the lovely girls did my makeup following a product that I tried and made my face look like an oily slick(a not very attractive moment)! I have to say that this is the best tinted moisturizer in terms of coverage, it is comparable to a light foundation and comes in a variety of shades. It gives radiance to my skin and makes me look completely awake at 8am. There is a warning though for combination skin girls, use a setting powder or you will get shiny throughout the day.

The love of my life, the product I can not live without: The Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow. My to go palette for cheek bones and highlighting. The bronzy color is ideal for contouring; bringing out the cheekbones that I don't have, and generally warming up the complexion, which again  I am no capable of as I do not get tanned. The highlighter is my favorite powder highlighter I have ever come across. It is a rose gold pigment and is stunning on any face I have used this product one. LOVE.

An old favorite of mine, a companion for two years now and a product I always come back to. My MAC Mineralize Skin finish in Stereo Rose. It is a rosy color with dark gold stripes and has such a beautiful pigmentation, there will never be too much product on the brush. I have pink cheeks already, and this blush just make my cheeks look amazing without making it too much color on my cheeks.

Last but not least, my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in light to medium. I can not tell you how much I love this product, not only because it is an actual great matte bronzer for even fair skin tones (be a bit easy with the brush as it is very pigmented), it also smells like chocolate. It smells so much of Chocolate that it gives me something to smile about every day I put it on and it grows my appetite to eat chocolate (naughty products!!!!)

Part 2 will come shortly after and will cover my eyes and lip products. Hope you are having a wonderful day.
