21st Birthday

Today there won't be my usual Makeup your Monday post, as last Thursday was my birthday and I wanted to share with you my weekend that I have spent with my loved ones.

I turned 21 on the 5th of March and was surprised
by all the happiness and positiveness that I have received over the days and for that I am grateful. You should value those who are by your side and solely want you to be happy on this special day.

Doreen and I met at 10 am sharp in Maida Vale for mani and pedi at Nailspa. I love getting my nails done there as you can relax and enjoy this luxury. After the nails, we ordered an uber and drove to Belgravia where we got our hair done at Neville Salon. We slurped our coffee, giggled like little girls whilst getting our hair's done.

After we had a beautiful walk around Sloane street and whisked off home to meet my brother who came all the way from boarding school to see me. We talked and saw how the time was running by, so we rushed back to the hotel my parents stayed and had a late lunch at Hotel 41. I cannot rave enough about this hotel, my favourite one in Europe. If you want to have a luxury weekend getaway... book a room and you won't be sorry. It is hidden in Victoria, 5 min away from Buckingham Palace.
 Someone is camera shy!

At 9pm we had dinner reservations at Zuma, my favourite Japanese restaurant. You can spot a trend here, I only went to places I adore and didn't want to get disappointed by the quality or the service.

Birthday wishes were given in form of toasts and a lot of sake!
My grandma clearly missed my brother more than she did me

My dad handed me my present and it was a gold bracelet and a ring with diamonds. I was so lucky with my present as it fit me perfectly.

And then I got the biggest surprise ever when the restaurant was singing Happy Birthday to me whilst I got two cakes with candles to blow out. I couldn't remember the last time I got cake for my Birthday so as you can think I felt spoiled rotten and happy beyond explainable.

And then Doreen handed me another present, even though we made a pact of not buying each other presents as we were both broke at the time, however she sneaked out and went to Selfridges and bought me the most generous gift there is out there. I love you and thank you for this special birthday that you were a part of.

After the dinner, I went out to meet more friends for drinks and to continue celebrate my Birthday.

More on my weekend... soon!
